Laying Driveway Stone

• Calculate the cubic yardage of stone/gravel needed for each driveway layer

• Ensure the ground is level and compact.
• Place a layer of weed membrane (1000 guage) over the area and layer 2-2.25 inches of stone

Laying Pathway Stone

• Mark out the path with string line
• Dig an edging trench and bed in edging
• Loosen the edging
• Remove turf and soil
• Compact the soil
• Add a weed membrane
• Add preferred choice of glenview stone

Laying Flowerbed Stone

• Clear the space of all vegetation
• Dog over the ground to enhance the condition of the top layer of soil
• Rake well to even out the surg-=face and break down any lumps
• Feed ythe soil with fertiliser, compost or manure
• Add glenview sand if necessary to improve drainage
• Dig an outside border (about 4inches wide and couple of inches deep)
• Finally lay a weed membrane over the area and secure it with stone
• Spead it and level depth of 2-3 inches
